The Hobbiton Movie Set is a significant location used in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit film trilogies, serving as a stand-in for the town of Hobbiton in the Shire in both.

The booking must be made at least two months in advance to reserve entry tickets, as there is a limited number of sessions available. 

The drive from Auckland to Hobbiton takes 2 hours, and the tour transport departs from Auckland.

Ride a boat beneath thousands of tiny glow-worms which inhabit the caves and put on a mesmerising light display, likened to the twinkling night sky. Waitomo Caves is home to thousands of magical glowworms, and the enchanting caves have been attracting visitors for more than 120 years, thanks to their incredible limestone formations and luminescent glowworms.
