Day 1

Depart from Cape Town on the N1 route eventually joining the R62 Wine Route to Oudtshoorn. This route takes you past the many towns which include Montagu and Robertson. We also travel on the Little Karoo Region. We travel until we reach Oudtshoorn

In the afternoon we go on a guided tour of the stunning Cango Caves.

The Cango Caves, located near Oudtshoorn in South Africa, are a magnificent subterranean wonder, renowned for their vast halls and intricate limestone formations. These caves stretch deep into the Swartberg Mountains, offering visitors a journey through stunning stalactites, stalagmites, and ancient rock formations. Day 2

In Botlierskop we go on a guided 4x4 game safari. This is a wonderful experience as we get to see a lot of wildlife include some of Africa's Big 5, lions, elephants, buffalo, rhino and much more.

In the afternoon we go on tour of the Knysna Quays Waterfront.

Visitors can stroll along the boardwalk, watching boats gently bobbing in the water or enjoy fresh seafood while soaking in the relaxed atmosphere. In late afternoon, you can go on a sunset boat cruise in the Knysna Lagoon. This is an own cost activity, costs $20-00.

Day 3

After breakfast we start with a tour of Knysna Heads.

A tour of the Knysna Heads offers breathtaking views of one of South Africa’s most iconic coastal landmarks. These two towering sandstone cliffs guard the entrance to the Knysna Lagoon, where the Indian Ocean meets the tranquil waters of the estuary. As you explore the area, you’ll be treated to panoramic vistas of the rugged coastline, shimmering waters, and lush forests that surround the town of Knysna. Whether viewed from the top of the cliffs, by boat, or from the beaches below, the Knysna Heads provide a stunning backdrop for any adventure, blending natural beauty with a sense of serene escape.

From Knysna Heads we proceed to Robberg Nature Reserve where we do hiking. Robberg Nature Reserve is probably the most beautiful nature reserve in South Africa. 

Hiking in Robberg Nature Reserve offers an exhilarating journey through one of South Africa's most stunning coastal landscapes. Located near Plettenberg Bay, the reserve features well-marked trails that wind along rugged cliffs, golden beaches, and ancient caves. As you trek, you'll be treated to panoramic views of the ocean, the possibility of spotting seals, dolphins, and even whales during migration season. From Robberg Nature Reserve we go on a brief tour of Plettenberg Bay, one of the most beautiful coastal towns in South Africa. 

We also go to the beach in Plettenberg Bay for relaxation. The beach is situated on a prime beachfront location, offering direct access to soft, golden sands and the gentle waves of the Indian Ocean. Whether you’re lounging under the warm sun, taking a leisurely swim, or simply enjoying the stunning coastal views, the beach provides a serene escape. We also go to Bloukrans Bridge where you can do bungy jumping. This is an own cost activity - cost $50-00 per person.

From Hermanus we proceed to Benguela Cove Wine Estate where we do wine tasting of 5 top wines. 

Wine tasting at Benguela Cove Wine Estate is a refined experience set against the stunning backdrop of South Africa's Walker Bay. Located near Hermanus, this coastal vineyard offers a unique opportunity to sample award-winning wines while enjoying panoramic views of the lagoon and surrounding mountains. From Benguela Cove Wine Estate we proceed to Betty's Bay where we see the African Penguins.

Viewing African penguins in Betty's Bay is a captivating experience that brings you up close to one of South Africa's most endearing wildlife species. Located at the Stony Point Nature Reserve, the colony is one of the largest breeding sites for these charming birds. As you walk along the boardwalks, you can observe the penguins in their natural habitat, waddling along the rocky shoreline, diving into the ocean, or tending to their nests. The dramatic coastal scenery adds to the charm, making Betty's Bay a must-visit destination for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts.
