Tour højdepunkt
Join us on a scenic drive along the South Coast, stopping at the picturesque McLaren Vale Tourist Information Centre to pick up local souvenirs and enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee.
Next, we'll head to Port Elliot, where you can take in the stunning views from the Obelisk lookout. You'll also have the chance to climb over the rocks at Boomer beach and spot a seal playing in the waves.
After exploring Port Elliot, we'll drive on to Victor Harbor, where you'll have 2 hours to explore at your own pace. You can take a self-guided walk or horse-drawn carriage ride to Granite Island, or enjoy some local shopping and eat lunch at one of the many local eateries.
On the drive home, we'll stop at the d'Arenberg Cube, an iconic McLaren Vale winery, to admire the unique art and enjoy a wine tasting (must be 18 for wine tasting). Entry and tasting is included in the tour price.

There’s time to browse the gift shop’s selection of locally made products and explore the art gallery showcasing works by regional artists—making it a perfect break to experience the flavours and creativity of McLaren Vale.

Port Elliot Obelisk
Stop: 20 minutes
During your tour, you'll pause at the Port Elliot Obelisk, a historic landmark perched atop Freeman’s Nob. This 7.7-metre-high cream-coloured obelisk, constructed in 1852, once served as a navigational aid for ships entering the harbour, with a blue flag raised to indicate safe passage .
From the lookout, enjoy panoramic views over Horseshoe Bay, Boomer Beach, and the surrounding coastline. The area is also renowned for whale watching, particularly during the winter months when southern right whales and their calves are often visible from the shore.

Port Elliot
Stop: 20 minutes
Stroll down the main street. Admire the historic buildings and stop in at the famous Port Elliot Bakery or look through the antique shops.

Victor Harbor
Stop: 2 hours
During your visit to Victor Harbor, admire the stunning coastal views from a scenic lookout before making your way to Granite Island—either by walking the causeway or opting for the historic horse-drawn tram, a unique and leisurely experience. Once back on the mainland, take time to explore the vibrant main street, where you can enjoy a bite to eat and browse a variety of local shops and cafes, all set against the relaxed charm of this picturesque seaside town.

At d’Arenberg in McLaren Vale, you can enjoy a memorable wine tasting experience and explore the striking five-story d’Arenberg Cube.
