Stop: 30 minutes
Visit Gullfoss Waterfall, one of Iceland’s most famous natural landmarks. Located on the Golden Circle route, it features a two-tiered drop into a deep canyon carved by the Hvítá River. The waterfall is easily accessible and offers several viewing platforms for different perspectives.

Geysir
Stop: 30 minutes
Visit the Geysir Geothermal Area, home to bubbling hot springs, steam vents, and erupting geysers. While the original Geysir is mostly inactive, its neighbor Strokkur erupts every few minutes, shooting boiling water up to 25 meters in the air. The area offers walking paths and viewpoints for safely observing this geothermal activity.

Pingvellir National Park
Stop: 30 minutes
Visit Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet. This historic site is also home to Iceland’s first parliament, established in 930 CE. The park features dramatic landscapes, walking trails, and clear glacial springs, making it both a geological and cultural highlight of the Golden Circle.
