Day 1

With a scenic drive from Cape Town, stopping at Betty’s Bay, a charming coastal town known for its wild beauty and resident African penguin colony at Stony Point. Wander the wooden boardwalks as you watch these fascinating birds up close in their natural habitat.

Next, swing by Hermanus, a seaside town famous for its whale-watching (in season), coastal cliffs, and laid-back vibe. Grab a coffee, take a stroll along the cliff path, and soak in the fresh sea air.

Then it’s on to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. Climb the historic lighthouse for panoramic views, then wind down the day on the beach with your fellow travelers, watching the sun set over this dramatic stretch of coastline

Day 2

Today, we dive into the heart of the Garden Route for an epic safari experience! Hop into an open 4x4 and journey through the reserve in search of Africa’s legendary wildlife. From grazing giraffes to stealthy predators, every turn brings the chance for a breathtaking sighting. Keep your camera close — whether it's a lion on the move or a herd crossing your path, these are the raw, unscripted moments that make safari magic. Get ready to connect with nature, snap unforgettable shots, and make wild memories that will stay with you long after the dust settles.

After the thrill of the safari, we head to the laid-back town of Wilderness, nestled between forested mountains and the Indian Ocean. The afternoon is yours to chill out — stroll through town, grab a coffee, or restock any essentials at the local shops. It’s the perfect pause in nature’s calm.

As the sun begins to set, get ready to embrace a true South African favorite: the Braai. This isn’t just a barbecue — it’s a cultural experience. Gather around the fire with your travel crew, share stories, soak up the good vibes, and feast on flame-grilled local flavors. It’s community, tradition, and unforgettable food all rolled into one warm, relaxed evening.

Day 3

This morning begins in the serene setting of Wilderness National Park, where a peaceful canoe trip along the Touw River awaits. As you glide through the calm waters, surrounded by indigenous forest, keep an eye out for the abundance of birdlife that thrives in this lush ecosystem. After about 40 minutes of paddling, we’ll leave the canoes behind and set off on a short, scenic hike along a wooden boardwalk. This gentle trail leads us to a tranquil waterfall and inviting rock pools, a perfect spot to relax and take in the beauty of nature

Next, we journey to one of South Africa’s most iconic adrenaline attractions — the Bloukrans Bridge. Towering at 216 meters, it offers the world’s highest commercial bridge bungy jump. There will be plenty of time for thrill seekers to take the plunge, while others can simply marvel at the spectacular views and the courageous leaps of fellow travelers.

Our afternoon brings us to the breathtaking Tsitsikamma National Park, a coastal gem where dense forest meets the thunder of ocean waves. Home to a variety of wildlife including otters and countless bird species, this park is a haven for nature lovers. A walk along the dramatic coastal path leads to the famous hanging bridge suspended over the Storms River Mouth, offering panoramic views and a chance to experience firsthand why this is considered South Africa’s most scenic national park

Day 4

Jeffreys Bay – South Africa’s Surfing Paradise
Welcome to Jeffreys Bay, home of the world’s best right-hand surf break! This iconic coastal town draws international surfers year-round, eager to ride its legendary waves. With its sunshine-drenched beaches, vibrant surf culture, and spectacular scenery of aloes, dolphins, shells, perfect point breaks, and classic reefs, it’s no wonder so many find it hard to leave.
But Jeffreys Bay isn’t just for surfers. Whether you're riding waves or not, this laid-back town offers something for everyone — horseback riding along the beach, sandboarding the dunes, or exploring the many surf shops that line the streets.
As the day winds down, we’ll settle in for the night just a stone’s throw from the beach, with the sound of the ocean as our backdrop. It’s the perfect place to relax, reflect, and soak in the spirit of this surf-lover’s paradise.

Day 5

Oudtshoorn – Caves, Mountains & Ostriches
Leaving the Eastern Cape behind, we journey back into the heart of the Garden Route, bound for Oudtshoorn — a charming town nestled in the Little Karoo semi-desert. Known as the ostrich capital of the world, this region offers a unique blend of natural beauty and quirky charm.

Our scenic drive takes us through the breathtaking Outeniqua Mountain Pass, offering panoramic views as we cross into a different landscape.

Upon arrival, we’ll explore the spectacular Cango Caves, a vast underground wonderland of limestone chambers, towering formations, and fascinating rock sculptures carved by nature over millennia.

As the afternoon fades into evening, we’ll head to a local ostrich farm for a guided tour. Here, you’ll have the chance to learn about these remarkable birds while soaking in the sweeping vistas of the Outeniqua and Swartberg Mountain ranges — a truly picturesque backdrop.
Tonight, we settle in for an overnight stay in Oudtshoorn, under the starry skies of the Karoo.

Next up on our journey along the Garden Route is the stunning Plettenberg Bay — or just “Plett” if you want to sound like a local. This laid-back coastal town is all about golden beaches, lush forests, and ocean views that go on forever.

Day 6

Our journey begins as we leave Oudtshoorn and make our way back to Cape Town, following the famously scenic Route 62 — South Africa’s longest wine route. This picturesque drive winds through charming towns, dramatic landscapes, and rolling vineyards, offering one last taste of the diverse beauty of the Western Cape.
