This day tour from Bangkok takes you back in time to the former capital of Thailand, once a powerful kingdom. Your journey begins with a comfortable shared transfer from your Bangkok hotel, heading towards the historical ruins just over an hour away.

First, visit Wat Mahathat, where you'll see the famous Buddha head enveloped by tree roots. Next, explore the ruins of Wat Phra Si Sanphet, once part of the royal palace complex and known for its striking white chedis.

Continue to the Bang Pa-In Royal Palace, a beautifully maintained summer residence of Thai kings. Its mixture of Thai, Chinese, and European architecture makes it a picturesque stop.

Enjoy a guided tour throughout the day, gaining insights into Thai history and Buddhism. You'll have opportunities to take photos, shop for local souvenirs, and try authentic Thai snacks (at your own expense) before returning to Bangkok in the afternoon.
