Day 1

Cruise along scenic backroads through emerald rice fields, arriving at the majestic Marble Mountains. Explore hidden caves, ancient pagodas perched on mountain peaks, and marvel at intricate sculptures handcrafted from local stone.

Next, soak up the sun on My Khe Beach, famed for its beauty and historical significance as the French Army's first base in the Vietnam War. Conquer the breathtaking Hai Van Pass, aptly named "Ocean of Clouds Pass," for panoramic coastal views. Enjoy a unique lunch at a floating local restaurant or a secluded beach haven. Relax and swim in the refreshing natural springs before continuing to the Tam Giang Lagoon. Day 2

We'll head west, leaving Hue behind and merging onto Highway 1 before switching to Highway 9 towards the Khe Sanh Combat Base.
Our first stop is a local cemetery in Hue, a somber yet respectful tribute to Vietnamese soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the Vietnam War.

Next, we journey to the Quang Tri Old Citadel, renowned for its 81-day siege. 

Following the coastline, we'll arrive at Cua Tung Queen. Here, we'll explore the Vinh Moc Tunnels – a testament to human resilience. These underground tunnels, dug by villagers seeking refuge during the war, stand as a symbol of survival. We'll enjoy lunch amidst this historical site.

We'll then cross the former border at the 17th Parallel, before heading east onto the Ho Chi Minh Trail and Highway 9, passing iconic Vietnam War landmarks like the Rockpile and Da Krong Bridge.

Fuel up with a delicious local breakfast and coffee before diving into the heart of the war's history. Explore the Ta Con Old Airport, a key battleground, and immerse yourself in the museum's exhibits. 

Next, prepare to be stunned by the real Ho Chi Minh Trail. This legendary route winds through breathtaking landscapes – picture old-growth jungle, majestic mountain ranges adorned with cascading waterfalls, and breathtaking views. Along the way, we'll stop at charming local hill tribe villages and historic relics from the Vietnam War. Get ready to trade your motorbike for a short trek along the Laos-Vietnam border, where you can soak in the sounds and fresh smell of the ancient forest.
