Join us on a local trekking adventure to the stunning rice terraces and traditional village of Sapa.

On this tour, our experienced local guide will take you to visit three villages of the Hmong, Giay, and Red Dao ethnic groups. You'll enjoy breathtaking mountain views and see the largest river and valley in Sapa.

You'll also visit the famous rice terraces and learn about the culture, customs, and traditions of Sapa's main ethnic groups.

Our guide will share fascinating stories about Hmong marriage traditions, rice farming, house building, and many other local ways of life!

  • On this tour, our experienced local guide will meet and pick you up in the center of Sapa. Take you through three different villages of the H'Mong, Giay and Red Dao ethnic minorities. You will admire the beautiful mountain landscape and Sapa's most important river and valley.

Lao Chai

  • Y Linh Ho Village.
  • The tour starts at 9 am. Our local guide will meet you at your hotel in Sapa Town or in front of the main church. After a brief introduction, you will be taken 2km down to Cat Cat’s road, a well-known village of the Hmong minority. From there, you will reach the hanging bridge of the Muong Hoa river and then continue uphill into the mountains and through a bamboo forest. From there you will have the chance to admire some of the biggest and most beautiful rice terraces in Vietnam and enjoy the majestic mountain view on top of the Hoang Lien mountain. You will then head down to Y Linh Ho village and have lunch at a small, traditional restaurant run by a local Hmong family.Read moreMore about Lao Chai

Ta Van Village

  • After lunch, you will continue hiking to Lao Chai village, home to the Black H'Mong people. Then, to Ta Van village, where you will meet the Giay ethnic group.
