Thian Hock Keng Temple

Thian Hock Keng temple (means "Palace of Heavenly Happiness”), the oldest temple in Singapore, also known as the Tianfu Temple, is a temple built for the worship of Mazu, a Chinese sea goddess. It is the oldest and most important temple of the Hokkien people in the country. Thian Hock Keng was gazetted as a national monument on 6 July 1973.
