This tour begins at the Little India MRT station and takes you to Tekka Centre, a bustling market filled with a wide range of products, from fresh produce to clothes and electronics.
At Tekka Centre, you'll have the opportunity to visit a spice shop and learn about the different kinds of spices used in Indian cooking. You can also try the famous roti (flatbread) and teh tarik, as well as some traditional Indian sweets.
Next, you'll cross the road to visit a flower shop, where beautiful garlands are made by hand. You'll have the chance to try making one as well!
After that, you'll make a photo stop at Tan Teng Niah, a colourful Chinese villa that stands out among the various shops.
Finally, you'll visit Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple, one of the oldest Hindu temples in Singapore. You can take in the spiritual atmosphere and admire the intricate sculptures and paintings inside.

Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple

Finally, the garlands are brought to Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple, one of the oldest Hindu temples in Singapore. The spiritual atmosphere and the intricate sculptures and paintings inside are admired. There is also an opportunity to make an offering with the garland and receive a blessing.
Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple is one of the oldest and iconic Indian temple in Singapore located in the middle of Little India in the southern part of Singapore.
