Meet us at the historic Windsor Hotel in central Melbourne 1.5 hour before sunrise, and we will drive you to the launch field. There, the equipment will be prepared and inflated. Passengers are welcome to participate in the various interesting and fun tasks needed to get in the air.
After a short safety briefing, board the hot air balloon and soar into the sky. Admire stunning views of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, the Yarra River, parks, and botanical gardens from above.
Be amazed by how gentle ballooning is, and take part in the adventure of floating in the wind. Enjoy the warm rays of the early morning sun along with fascinating views. Share this peaceful and unique experience with family and friends.

See how sometimes the best light comes on cloudy days when the sun penetrates and casts lovely light and shadows on the buildings. With three airports, the bay to the South and a huge metropolitan area, Melbourne is a very technical location to fly over and the largest city in the world where regular balloon flights take place.
Watch as the pilot uses the winds at different heights to guide the flight to a safe landing spot. Because balloons float in the wind, you will end up in a different location from where the flight started. Meet the ground crew at the landing spot.
