Cusco
We will pick up you at the hotel, (5:00am) we will start our adventure to the Humantay Lake.
Mollepata
After about a 4-hour drive, we will stop in Mollepate to enjoy a delicious breakfast and get energized for the day ahead.
SORAYPAMPA
Continue the drive to Soraypampa, located at 3,850 meters above sea level, where we begin our trek to Humantay Lake.
Humantay Lake
- We will hike for about 1.5 hours, reaching Humantay Lake at 4,200 meters above sea level. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the lake and, on clear days, the stunning snow-capped Salkantay and Humantay mountains. After taking photos and having some free time, you can also offer a small gift to the Apus (mountain spirits).
- Alternative: Horses are available for rent for those who prefer not to hike.
SORAYPAMPA
- After your time at the lake, we will begin the descent back to Soraypampa. The walk down takes about 1.5 hours and is much easier than the way up.
- Once back at Soraypampa, enjoy a delicious lunch and take some time to rest before we start our return journey.
Cusco
After lunch and a rest, we will make our way back to Cusco, where we will arrive around 6:00 PM.
