The Mekong Eyes is a unique river cruise vessel that combines traditional boat-building techniques with modern comforts. At 39 meters long and 8.5 meters wide, the Mekong Eyes is the perfect vessel to explore the Mekong Delta in style. The river cruise boat is built from an old, traditional rice barge, using the finest quality wood and decorated by skilled craftsmen of the Mekong Delta. One of the traditional ceremonies performed on a newly constructed Mekong boat is the "eye opening". The eyes are painted on the bow for good luck, a wide-awake crew and fast and safe journeys. The river cruise boat can comfortably accommodate up to 30 passengers on a large area of approximately 250 square meters, making it like a floating hotel.
