Along the journey, you can choose to experience the optional Jumping Crocodile Cruise for an exhilarating close-up encounter with Australia's iconic saltwater crocodiles, or visit the rich wetlands of Fogg Dam, home to an incredible variety of birdlife and native wildlife. After a stop in Batchelor, continue to the remarkable Magnetic Termite Mounds before enjoying time to swim and relax at either Buley Rockholes or Wangi Falls. The adventure concludes with a visit to one of the park's most spectacular waterfalls—Florence Falls or Tolmer Falls—where dramatic escarpments and cascading waters provide a memorable finale before returning to Darwin.

  • Fitness Level: A minimum moderate level of fitness is required to complete the walks down to the waterfalls in sometimes extreme weather conditions on this tour.
  • Age Restrictions: Children aged 6 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian at all times due to the swimming holes involved. Not suitable for infants or children aged 5 and under.

  • Mobility Considerations: This tour terrain is not suitable for mobility-impaired travellers, including those using wheelchairs, walkers, prams, or strollers.
  • Baggage Limitations: Limited storage space on our vehicle, baggage kept to 1 x 5-7kg day bag per person. We are not able to accommodate travellers' suitcases on day trips, please store at your hotel whilst on tour.

  • Itineraries may vary to adapt to seasonal changes and occasionally spots in the parks close or do not allow swimming. As safety is our top priority we plan accordingly to ensure our guests have the most fun and best experience possible while on tour.
  • Please ensure you have checked the average temperatures for the time of year you are travelling and have packed adequate clothing.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to extreme weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

Our first stop of the day is an optional Jumping Croc Cruise on the Adelaide River OR a visit to the Fogg Dam Conservation Centre. The traditional lands of the Limilngan-Wulna people (who are active in the reserve's management) are one of the most spectacular places to explore the diverse wildlife of the Top End, home to numerous species of birds, turtles, water pythons and of course the iconic Saltwater Crocodile.
