Increase your chances of witnessing the northern lights by joining an evening boat tour from Reykjavik's Old Harbour. If the viewing conditions aren't suitable, you'll be automatically enrolled in an alternative activity. This might include a short film, photography workshop, or tour of the Whales of Iceland exhibition. The tour will take you away from the city lights into Faxaflói Bay, where you can enjoy a darker environment and ideal perspective on the night sky.
