The adventure begins with a scenic journey through the Sacred Valley, passing by charming towns like Chinchero, Urubamba, and Ollantaytambo. The journey begins at km 82, crossing the Urubamba River and passing Wilka Rakay, offering panoramic views of the ancient Inca site, Patallapta, and the Kusichaca Valley. The descent towards the Kusichaca River is straightforward, and the journey continues to Wayllabamba, where we settle in for the night.
