5-Day Salkantay Trek Tour + Humantay Lake | Return by Train

The Salkantay Trek is a 51 km long hike that takes around 6-7 hours to complete. This challenging trek is designed for travelers who enjoy adventure and want to experience the diverse microclimates, discover the secrets of the Andean world, and enjoy the breathtaking landscapes that this trek has to offer.

Please note that Machu Picchu tickets are subject to availability and can only be purchased through the Ministry of Culture of Peru.

Tickets will be purchased according to the available circuits and tickets (corresponding to circuits 1 and 2). Other circuits may be offered with an additional charge for the price difference in tickets. In case there is no availability of any type of tickets for Machu Picchu, you will receive a full refund of your tour package.

It begins with pickup from the hotel in Cusco at 5:00 am and transfer in tourist mobility to the town of Mollepata and introducing our team that will accompany us throughout the walk, the first breakfast is on your own, then we move to Marqoq' Asa where the walk begins to the viewpoint where we can observe 02 valleys (Mollepata Valley, Marqoq'asa) then we continue the walk to Soraypampa where we will have a well-deserved lunch and then ascend for 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the Humantay lagoon located at 4220 meters above sea level. After appreciating this beautiful place we will descend to Soraypampa.
