Imagine yourself standing on a board connected to a watercraft by a long hose. As you stand on the board, water is forced under pressure to a pair of boots with jet nozzles underneath. This provides thrust for you to fly up to 14 meters in the air or to dive headlong through the water down as far as you are willing to go.
The Flyboard has its own buoyancy, so it floats on the water, giving you more safety and an easier time in the water before you start. You can fly over the water, under the water, and have complete freedom to fly freestyle without the risk of getting hurt.
The Flyboard activity requires you to be in the water. You don't need to know how to swim, as you'll be wearing a life jacket. However, you need to be comfortable being in the water and not panicking. Remember that the life jacket is here to make you float!
