This 2–3 hour guided tour takes you through some of Central London’s finest traditional pubs to explore England’s greatest beer tradition – cask-conditioned real ale.


You’ll visit classic Victorian and Georgian pubs, taste carefully chosen cask beers served the proper way (straight from the handpump at the correct temperature), and gain real insight into how English beer is made, cellared and poured. Your guide will explain the key styles (mild, bitter, porter and modern cask ales), the role of CAMRA, and why cask ale remains unique in the world of beer.
