Mai Chau is a mountainous district of Hoa Binh province in the northwestern region of Vietnam. This region is known for its outstanding natural beauty and is inhabited by a Thai and H'mong ethnic minority groups. This trip offers an easy trek combined with home stay in villages of Thai people. You will trek for two days through the scenic and peaceful villages and stay overnight in local homes where you will have the chance to learn about the culture of the Thai people. From the mountainous region of Mai Chau, approximately 135 km from Hanoi. Mai Chau is well known for its stilt houses, green valleys.

Route: Hanoi – Maichau – Xo village – Van Village – Hanoi
DAY 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau- Xo village (L, D)
DAY 2: Xo village – Van village (B, L, D)
DAY 3: Van village-Maichau-Hanoi (B, L).
