Tour Highlight
The "Thung Chai" or water coconut is a very popular boat among local fishermen in central Vietnam. The boat is made of bamboo and is mainly used by fishermen in the region. For many fishermen, the "Thung Chai" is an essential tool for their livelihood. A trip to the water coconut groves and back during the day is a special experience. Cam Thanh village is about 4ha, during the Vietnam war, this was the shelter for local people and soldiers, and nowadays, this place is famous for providing the most seafood products for this area. Joining a basket boat tour, you will have a chance to learn some traditional fishing techniques and how to paddle the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats while exploring the now tranquil Coconut palm flanked waterways of a past war. On this tour, we provide an authentic social and cultural experience.
