Experience five days of trekking through the Andes Mountains on this shared tour of the Ausangate Circuit. This challenging and remote trek is designed for travelers with a strong level of physical fitness. You'll spend most of each day hiking at altitude and enjoying views of snowcapped peaks, valleys, and glacial lakes. You'll sleep overnight at campsites along the route. Please note that sleeping bags and walking poles are not provided.

We will pick you up at 4:30 AM from your hotel. We will then drive for three and a half hours to Upis town. Along the way, we will see picturesque towns and we will have a couple of stops en-route to capture some photos. Once in Upis, we will meet our local muleteers and horses. We will then have breakfast and get ready to start the adventure, we will walk for about 7 hours to get the first camp site called Pamparapa (4,600m / 15,088 feet). We’ll start hiking up gradually from Upis village, later on to immerse into the highland valley inhabited by llamas and alpacas with dramatic vistas of Ausangate in backdrops. We will stop for lunch at a very scenic spot with Ausangate Mt. range at the background. After lunch, we will continue hiking up for a bit over two hours to get the first camp site, called Pamparapa 4,600 m / 15,088 ft, with amazing views around of the Ausangate mountain. All meals included. Hiking Time: 6-7 Hours | Hiking Distance 10 kms/6.21 miles | Lowest Point: 3,800m (12,467 ft) | Highest Point: 4,600m (15,088ft)
