There's no reason your trip to Rome has to miss out on the rest of Italy's fabulous sites. With this partly custom private tour, your driver will pick you up directly from your Rome accommodations for an easy 2.5-hour drive to the world-famous Pompeii archeological site. (A private guide can be arranged upon request.) From there, you'll jet off to the Amalfi Coast, taking in the exquisite views from Sorrento or Positano—your choice.

Your day will begin as your Professional English Speaking Driver will pick you up from your local Roman accommodation in a luxury Mercedes Benz Vehicle and chauffeur you to Pompeii! During the drive your Private Knowledgeable English Speaking Driver will be able to answer any questions you may have as you are relaxed and comfortable in your luxury Mercedes Benz vehicle.
Its fame precedes it, Pompeii is one of those places where you can’t help feeling involved with its history as it will make you feel that the city has been frozen in time. Although it is very well known how it was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, nowadays is quite perfectly preserved and it has become one of the most visited archaeological sites in Italy, and even has the status of an UNESCO World Heritage Site!
Here you will also have the chance to witness the famous plaster casts of the inhabitants killed by this natural disaster. Let this antique Roman civilization gives you one of the most beautiful and eeriest experiences!
You will visit the site on your own – a Private Licensed Tour Guide can be requested in advance with an extra cost-highly recommended.
Next stop will be at a local Trattoria where you will flavor the most delicious southern delicacies.

After finish enjoying lunch, we will continue the tour and your private driver will chauffer you to The Amalfi Coast in your luxury Mercedes Benz vehicle!
The Amalfi Coast is a perfect beautiful example of a Mediterranean landscape, also declared by UNESCO as a “World Heritage Site”, it has 13 seaside towns, which you will be able to admire while passing by the highway that connects them, this road is considered one of the most scenic drives in the world!
A couple of stops can be made for pictures.
