The Trevi Fountain is a fountain in the Trevi district in Rome, Italy, designed by Italian architect Nicola Salvi and completed by Giuseppe Pannini and several others. Standing 26.3 meters (86 ft) high and 49.15 meters (161.3 ft) wide, it is the largest Baroque fountain in the city and one of the most famous fountains in the world.
It was built from 1732 to 1762 to a design by Nicola Salvi in the late Baroque, in the transition to the classicist style, following the Palazzo Poli. It is one of the main attractions of Rome.
The fountain was reopened on 3 November 2015 after long restoration work.
