Embark on a thrilling 4-day trek to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Machu Picchu. This alternative route takes you to Humantay Lake, Salkantay Mountain, and through the rugged Andean mountain range down to the edge of the Cloud Forest. Accommodation is included, including a night at an exclusive camp with igloos perfect for stargazing.

Kickstart this journey early in the morning. You'll travel to Mollepata for breakfast and then to the starting point of the trek of Challacancha. The first trail will be a 3-hour moderate hike with fantastic valley views to our first camp in Soraypampa, where you’ll settle in your igloo.

Humantay Lake

Humantay Lake

In the afternoon, you'll hike up to the iconic Humantay Lake, which is a 3-hour round trail to the top. All your efforts are rewarded as you can watch this glacier gem and Humantay Mountain from the upper parts. Back at Camp, you'll share a filling dinner with your group and fall asleep gazing at the stars through your glass-roofed igloo.
