Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is famous for its centuries-old architecture and vibrant culture, shaped by influences from Southeast Asia, China, and France. At the heart of the city lies the bustling Old Quarter, characterized by narrow streets historically organized by trade. The Hanoi Opera House is an old theatre with French architecture and typical Gothic and Mosaic characters reflected on the door domes and the glassed room respectively. The Temple of Literature is a popular cultural and historical relic. The twin bell towers have often drawn comparison to those at Notre Dame de Paris; the architects of St. Joseph's sought to emulate its Parisian counterpart.
