The day-long experience includes a train ride from Rome to the medieval hilltop town of Castel Gandolfo. Stroll around the hamlet before stopping for lunch with a lakeside view, then take a leisurely downhill descent along the ancient Appian Way to Rome. The route is suitable for intermediate-level cyclists and covers a distance of approximately 32 miles (50km).
