Moray is an Inca archaeological complex located in the Sacred Valley of Cusco, famous for its huge circular platforms in the shape of an amphitheater. These spaces would have functioned as a center of agricultural experimentation, where the Incas took advantage of the different microclimates to grow various products. It is a unique place that combines engineering, science and Andean agricultural wisdom.

Salinas de Maras
Stop: 30 minutes
The Salineras de Maras are a set of more than 3,000 tiered salt pools, used from Inca times to the present day. Salt water from a natural slope is channeled into these pools, where it evaporates and leaves the salt crystallized. It is an impressive landscape that combines ancient tradition with natural beauty, and remains an important source of livelihood for local families.
