On our visit, we’ll pause to enjoy a cup of local coffee paired with a traditional Cape Malay koeksister, before wandering through the gardens while learning about Cape Town’s rich past. Next, step into the colourful Bo-Kaap, one of Cape Town’s most vibrant and historic neighbourhoods. Here, you’ll take part in an authentic hands-on Cape Malay cooking class, guided by a local host. Learn the art of folding samoosas, discover the secrets of fragrant spices, and taste the unique sweet-and-spicy flavours that define Cape Malay cuisine. Along the way, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the Bo-Kaap community, its traditions, and its rich cultural heritage — an unforgettable experience that blends food, history, and hospitality.

End your day in Langa, Cape Town’s oldest township, founded in the 1920s. Rich in history and culture, Langa offers a powerful look into the city’s past and its ongoing transformation. With your guide, you’ll gain meaningful insights into the community, its people, and traditions.
Your visit concludes with a mouthwatering Shisanyama lunch — a traditional South African braai. Savor sizzling boerewors, juicy beef, and tender chicken, served with pap and spicy chakalaka.
