The Gili Islands are a group of three tiny islands: Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air, located in Indonesia, near the coast of northwest Lombok Island.
The islands are characterized by sandy beaches fringed with palm trees, and are known for their coral reefs just offshore.
On the smallest island of Gili Meno, sea turtles swim at Turtle Point. At Gili Trawangan, the largest island, a sunken ship sits at Wreck Point near Mentigi Beach.
Around the Gilis, it's also common to see marine life and coral formations. Most famous diving spots are Shark Point, Manta Point, and Simon's Reef.
To get to the Gili Islands, you can take a transfer from your hotel to Padangbai harbour, and then take a fastboat to the Gili Islands.
The boat departure is at 09:45 am, and you will be picked up from your hotel at 7:15 am
