- In Rieti, we will visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria and its bell tower from 1.252. It might look quite simple from the outside, but inside is beautifully ornate with original frescos. It also has a crypt of the most antique part of the church.
- Another gems Rieti has to offer us for admire them are the Church of San Francesco, in honor to Saint Francis of Assisi who has stayed many times in the city. The stunning Flavio Vespasiano theatre with its characteristic good acoustics; and the Church of San Rufo situated in a same name square, tradition says this is the exact geographical centre of Italy!

- Finally, we will go to L’Aquila, surrounded by 4 mountains, thanks to their protection against the Mediterranean warm currents, its weather never gets as hot as the rest of Italy. Although the city is also still in recovery, some of its attractions can be admire again.
