If you take the train, you'll arrive in just over an hour and meet your local driver for a smooth transfer to Pompeii; by car, the drive to Pompeii takes about 2.5–3 hours.

In Pompeii, walk ancient streets halted by the 79 AD eruption of Vesuvius. Explore on your own or add a licensed private guide to deepen the story of villas, temples, frescoes, and street-food counters preserved for nearly two millennia.
