Explore the unspoiled beauty of Northern Vietnam on this 4-day, 3-night trekking adventure to the lush Ninh Binh Province from Hanoi. Private round-trip transport and a homestay in a traditional stilt house with the ethnic Thai people of Pu Luong are included. This experience allows you to discover the beauty of Northern Vietnam and the daily life of the local people. Enjoy multiple activities throughout, including cruising and cycling in the lush Van Long Wetland Nature Reserve and trekking in the Cuc Phuong National Park.

  • Accommodation and amenities are shared and basic, but the experience hanging out with friendly locals makes it all worthwhile.
  • This trip includes a moderate level of trekking. Although this hiking is possible for most travellers, a good level of fitness will help increase your enjoyment of this experience.
  • This Short Break Adventure starts at 8:00am on Day 1, and finishes at approximately 4.30pm on Day 4.
  • A Single Supplement is available for this trip.

  • Your adventure begins with a welcome meeting at 8 am in front of the grand entrance of the Opera House, where your local leader will be waiting for you and your fellow travellers. From Hanoi, you’ll take a private transpoort to Pu Luong – home of the Thai ethnic people.
  • Please arrive at the meeting place at least 15 minutes before 8:00 as we'll be collecting insurance information prior to departure.
