Explore the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kuranda Rainforest and observe native Australian wildlife on a full-day tour from Cairns. Take a ride on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway in a gondola, offering a unique perspective on the rainforest. Visit the Rainforestation Nature Park and take an amphibious Army Duck vehicle tour, offering another vantage point on the forest. Stop by the Koala and Wildlife Park to see koalas, kangaroos, and other native animals up close. Learn about Aboriginal culture at the Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience. After a classic Aussie barbecue lunch, take the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway back to Cairns.

Pick up from accommodation and transfer on air conditioned bus to Skyrail terminal. Soar over the ancient rainforest canopy on a gondola with Skyrail. Hop off at Red Peak and Barron Gorge stations to explore the rainforest and see the mighty Barron Falls.

Stop: 3 hours
Enjoy a range of Australian activities at Rainforestation.
Your tour includes:
- BBQ Lunch. Enjoy a delicious hot buffet and a wide selection of salads, cheeses and fruits.
- Army Duck Rainforest Tour with Tropical Fruit Orchard.
Travel deep into the rainforest on both land and water as your guide explains different species of flora and fauna.
- Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience. Watch the Pamagirri
Dancers perform in the rainforest amphitheatre, then join the Dreamtime Walk - learn to throw a boomerang and spear and watch didgeridoo playing.
- Koala & Wildlife Park. Join a guided tour, and see crocodiles, snakes, dingoes, a cassowary, and hand feed kangaroos and wallabies. You’ll have the opportunity to have your photo taken holding a Koala (optional extra) under supervision by our talented keepers.
