Bajra Sandhi Monument

The monument built to dedicated the struggle of Balinese people during the war against the Dutch colonial. The aim of the Dutch colonial invade and wage war on Balinese people is to make an occupation of Bali island.
If Jakarta (the capital city of Indonesia) has a Monas which is a national monument, Bali island has Bajra Sandhi. They both aim as a memorial monument. The architectural design of the Bajra Sandhi Monument represents a Balinese architecture design, with many unique carvings and sculptures.
On top of the monument, there is a 360 degree observation deck, from where entire city is visible.

Bali Provincial State Museum (Negeri Propinsi Bali)

Bali museum is a museum that stands from the idea of W.F.J Kroon in 1910 that has been accompanied by German architects known as Kurt Grundler and Balinese architects called I Gusti Ketut Rai and I Gusti Ketut Gede Kandel. It is a museum that presents the human and also ethnographic relics in earlier times.
Several of the collections within this museum contains ethnographic items like tools and everyday living supplies, artworks, religion, written sentence structure and others that represent the existence and progression of Balinese tradition.
We may find older farming equipment, coins, pieces of stuff of worship, swords, sculptures, jewelry items along with various things.

Pura Jagatnatha

This temple is very beautiful with full of Balinese ornament decorates on each temple building from the entrance gate until the main temple building and located at the center of Denpasar City. Apposite to this temple, there is a big courtyard with beautiful tropical garden. There is high temple building in the center of temple area that is the main temple where is used to pray to the god by Balinese Hindu. The unique of this temple is not having the Pengemong (the group of people/organization/team who support, keep, maintains the temple) like other temples in Bali, but it is only own the small volunteers and people who worship at this temple.

Badung Market Dempasar Bali

Bali Badung Market is a center of town's economics which is located in Gajah Mada Street, that is main road and become a shopping centre of Bali. This traditional market is apposite to the village temple that is one of three biggest temples in Denpasar. Badung Market is the largest market in Bali and acts as a sort of clearing house for many island goods. Sarong vendors in Padangbai may buy their wares at Badung Market. Fruit and vegetable producers from around Bali may bring their goods to market at Badung Market, so the market is humming with activity 24/7.
Badung Traditional Market is the center activities of seller and buyer with the variety of daily life need. You can see closely the Balinese doing transaction among them and local material that support their life.

Kumbasari Market

Kumbasari Market and Badung Market can be seen as one unit. Kumbasari Market is just a stone’s throw away from Pasar Badung. Across the river, about a 2 minutes’ walk away from Denpasar’s main market, you bump into Pasar Kumbasari. Kumbasari Market is the perfect complement to Badung market as it is a pure art market. Paintings, Sarongs, or woodcarvings, just to name a few, can be bought at Pasar Kumbasari for very local prices.

Tohpati Village

Tohpati is very notable as the town center of handmade Balinese Batik with a variety of color and designs. Right here the visitors will be demonstrated the Batik manufacturing and hand weaving process.
The specialties of Balinese Batik is present from the solid Javanese motifs; many of modern-day Batik refers the painting resources, such as Balinese culture, religious ceremonies, beautiful scenery, or mythological characters. Batik is one of the most wonderful wearable artwork and the way of the additional aspect of Balinese rich tradition.
We will take you to the place where you can see the weaving station where batik fabric is made. They also provide a wide selection of batik fabrics such as bags, children's clothing, aprons, handkerchiefs, placemats, t-shirts, etc, where you can buy some to bring home if you are interested of the handmade clothing collection.

In this street, we will find so many shops along the street selling trinkets and stuff. It is one of the most happening places to shop in Kuta. We can buy a variety of merchandise from here. There are also luxury boutiques on legian street. We will also notice a 2002 bombing memorial on the street.
