Imagine yourself surrounded by the breathtaking landscape of the Peruvian Andes. As you make your way through the Vilcabamba mountain range, you'll discover the Inca Sacred Lake, Humantay.
Along the way, you'll be surrounded by towering snow-capped mountains and beautiful valleys. The trek has a moderate difficulty level, so you'll need to be fully acclimatized before committing to this activity.
As you make your way to the top, you'll have the option to take a horseback ride to the top and make the most of your experience.
Once you reach the top, you'll have the opportunity to relax and appreciate the emerald water of Lake Humantay. It's a truly unforgettable experience.

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco. It will take about 3.5 hours to get to Humantay Lake from Cusco, but first, we’ll have a stop for breakfast at a cozy restaurant.

Humantay Lake
Stop: 2 hours
Once at the top of the mountain, you’ll realize that all that hard work has paid off! Our guides will explain the origin of the lagoon and will give you some free time so you can fully appreciate this natural wonder. After our visit, we will return to the buses so we can continue to our lunch stop. It should take about 45 minutes on the way down to the parking lot.

Stop: 60 minutes
After a whole day full of adventure, now it’s time for a well-deserved lunch. We’ve selected a restaurant where you’ll be able to sample the best of the Peruvian cuisine.
Once we’ve finished with all the activities, we’ll return to Cusco. Drop off will be at your accommodation.
