Customize your trip to Iceland's Golden Circle by opting for this private tour. You'll have the freedom to go at your own pace and skip crowded tour buses. After pickup from your Reykjavik hotel, your English-speaking driver-guide will take you on an adventure to Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss Waterfall, Geysir, and Kerid Crater. You'll have plenty of opportunities to snap photos of the volcanic landscape, see hot springs erupt, and feel the rush of waterfalls. Your driver-guide can recommend places for lunch (own expense) and is happy to add stops to suit your interests.

Þingvellir (Thingvellir) is a historic site and national park in Iceland, east of Reykjavík. It's known for the Alþing (Althing), the site of Iceland's parliament from the 10th to 18th centuries. On the site are the Þingvellir Church and the ruins of old stone shelters. The park sits in a rift valley caused by the separation of 2 tectonic plates, with rocky cliffs and fissures like the huge Almannagjá fault.

Strokkur, another hot spring, sits nearby and is very active, erupting to heights up to 30 meters every few minutes. In the Geysir area you will also have time to buy lunch or some snacks.
