Experience one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu, on this exciting 2-day adventure from Cusco. You'll enjoy a private transfer to Ollantaytambo, where you'll board the train to Aguas Calientes. Once you arrive, you'll have free time to explore the town and its surroundings. On day 2, you'll head to Machu Picchu, where you'll enjoy an in-depth guided tour of the Inca citadel. After the tour, you'll have the opportunity to climb Huayna Picchu mountain, which offers unparalleled views of the area.

  • The Machu Picchu 2-day tour begins with pick up from your hotel in Cusco at 10am.
  • After a 1-hour 30 minute drive through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, you will arrive at the train station in Ollantaytambo ready to board your train at 12.30pm. The 1-hour 45 minute train journey to Aguas Calientes will treat you to breathtaking scenes of snow capped mountains, Inka farming terraces and of course remarkable Inka ruins. After which you will be greeted by your tour guide, and escorted to your hotel in the town.
  • With a full afternoon free to explore Machu Picchu town without your guide, you can choose to either relax alongside the Vilconota river accompanied by the sound of the rapids, visit the local hot springs or hike the short trail to the nearby waterfalls of Mandor (90 minute round trip).
  • Your guide will meet you in your hotel in the evening to breif you on the schedule for your tour of Machu Picchu the following day.
  • Overnight in hotel in Aguas Calientes town.
