Vad du ska göra

Make the most of your day in Melbourne with a relaxed afternoon trip directly to Phillip Island and its world-famous Penguin Parade.

This shorter experience is ideal for travellers who want to see the penguins and enjoy Phillip Island’s spectacular coastline without committing to a full-day tour.

Meet your expert local guide in central Melbourne in the afternoon and travel south-east toward Phillip Island. Along the way, your guide will share stories and insights about Victoria, the island and its wildlife.

Your first major stop is The Nobbies, located on the western end of Phillip Island. Follow the coastal boardwalks and take in dramatic views across Bass Strait and toward Seal Rocks, home to Australia’s largest fur seal colony. Keep an eye out for wildlife around the coastline and even beneath the boardwalks.

As sunset approaches, continue to the Phillip Island Penguin Parade for the highlight of the evening.

Take your place in the General Viewing area and watch as little penguins emerge from the ocean after a day of fishing at sea. See them gather on the beach before waddling across the sand toward their burrows in the surrounding dunes.

After the main parade, follow the boardwalks for another opportunity to watch the penguins as they make their way home.

With a later departure, a maximum of 24 guests and a passionate local guide, Penguins Express is an easy way to experience one of Victoria’s most famous wildlife encounters while keeping your morning free in Melbourne.
