- This is the tour that does it all. Over five unforgettable days, you'll travel from Edinburgh through the very heart of the Scottish Highlands — ancient glens, mist-wrapped mountains, and historic castles — before crossing to the Isle of Skye, Scotland's most breathtaking island. Then back through dramatic Highland scenery, with time to breathe it all in at your own pace.
- No coaches. No crowds. No rushing. Just you, your private Hopscotch guide, a luxury Mercedes Minivan and Scotland at its very finest.

Hopscotch Travel is private tour company with operations from Edinburgh and Glasgow, Scotland. For five years we've been taking travellers from all over the world through the stunning scenery of the highlands, islands, lochs, castles and distilleries of Scotland - no coaches, no strangers and no fixed timetable.
Every tour is private to your group, led by a local driver-guide who collects you from your hotel door. Our guides tell the stories behind the scenery and know which road to take when the light is right. They'll happily change the plan if you want another half hour at Loch Ness or a second dram in Speyside.
You'll travel in a luxury Mercedes for groups of up to 7, or a Mercedes Sprinter for groups up to sixteen. Either way, it's just your party and your guide.
We hold a TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Award for 2026 and a Green Tourism Bronze Award, and we're members of UKinbound. We reply to enquiries quickly, there's no obligation to book, and a 25% deposit secures your dates.
