Spotting the northern lights is notoriously tricky, but you can increase your chances on this tour from Reykjavik. This tour takes you out into the Icelandic countryside and away from the light pollution of the city. Thanks to your guides' knowledge, you'll head to locations where conditions are likely to be clearest. No matter the outcome, enjoy an evening excursion beyond city limits, and keep warm and cozy with provided hot cocoa and blankets.

  • Tour is operated from Mid-September to Mid-April.
  • The tour duration is up to 4 hours
  • Minimum age is 6 years
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
  • Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately and bring warm clothing
  • Free photos on the tours when northern lights are seen
  • Most travelers can participate
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

Our expert guide will scout out the perfect spot with the least cloud cover and highest KP index values. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure under the shimmering Arctic sky! Our hunt may take up to 4 hours depending on the conditions but we will make sure to do our best to find them.
