The trekking route is approximately 7 km long and takes around 2-3 hours to complete. The route is considered moderate to challenging due to the steep inclines and uneven terrain.

With your local guide, climb up to the highest viewpoint from which to watch the sunrise over Bali—a worthy reward for your efforts. You will have time to walk around the crater before crossing a hill of lava and black sand before returning to the bottom. .
