Excursion to the Waqrapukara Archaeological Site from Cusco.

Join a small-group guided trek to discover the lesser-known pre-Inca citadel of Waqrapukara, nestled high in the Andes Mountains. Along the way, stop to enjoy the views at Pomacanchi Lagoon and enjoy breakfast at Sangarara. Lunch is also provided on the way back. If needed, walking sticks and oxygen are available.

- During this walk we will be able to appreciate a lot of flora, typical fauna of the area until we reach the archaeological site of Waqrapukara where we will visit the following places: Intipunku (Puerta del Sol), main square, Torreones, andenería, Wiracocha enclosure and cave paintings with Flame representation.
- After the visit to Waqrapukara we will start with the return to Sangarara where we will have lunch and there will be mobility for our return to Cusco.
