Visitors will have the chance to explore Robben Island, a world-renowned island notorious for the incarceration of South African political prisoners, including Nelson Mandela. This was a common stopping point for passing ships in the 16th and 17th centuries.
The tour also includes a visit to the world's greatest exhibition in bronze, known as the Long March to Freedom. This one-of-a-kind monumental procession of life-size bronze statues tells the story of 350 years of South Africa's struggle history through the lives of the persons represented. The Long March to Freedom exhibition, which currently consists of 100 figures that will grow into a procession of more than 400 bronze statues over time, is known as the world's largest representational collection of bronzes. .
