Just outside Proserpine, Whitsunday Gold Coffee Plantation offers more than just a great brew—it’s a true country experience. As one of Australia’s largest coffee producers, the plantation takes you behind the scenes of the bean-to-cup process, from growing and harvesting to roasting on site.
Wander through the scenic grounds and you’ll likely spot friendly farm animals like goats, alpacas, and chickens, as well as a variety of native birds that call the plantation home. After exploring, relax in the rustic café with a freshly brewed coffee and enjoy views of the cane fields, coffee trees, and surrounding bushland. It’s a unique stop that combines local flavour, wildlife, and warm hospitality.

Cedar Creek Falls

Tucked away in Conway National Park between Airlie Beach and Proserpine, Cedar Creek Falls is a cherished oasis of rainforest tranquillity with a scenic waterfall and freshwater swimming hole—best viewed in full flow after the wet season.
Wildlife & Nature Highlights
Turtles & Fish: Glide through clear, blue-green waters and spot turtles basking or paddling nearby.
Birdlife: Listen for native songbirds in the canopy, and keep an eye out for brush‑turkeys and orange-footed scrubfowl, which are common in the park.
Butterflies & Lizards: Colourful butterflies flit among wildflowers, while monitor lizards may be spotted lounging on sun-warmed rocks.
