Mutton Bird Lookout

This part of coastline use to be deep under water. The stone formed about 200 million years ago from ocean debris, such as plant and fish matter that floated to the bottom of the really deep ocean. Also keep a look out for the tiny and adorable Fairy Penguins as there are thousands of them around the area too!

The Twelve Apostles

The Twelve Apostles are perhaps the most famous attraction along the Great Ocean Road. These towering limestone stacks rise dramatically from the Southern Ocean, creating a breathtaking landscape. The best time to visit is either early morning or late afternoon for optimal lighting and fewer crowds.

Loch Ard Gorge

Many of the soldiers who built the road had little to no experience with road construction, yet they persevered and created one of the most scenic drives in the world. Nice experience overall

Very enjoyable tour
Our driver was experienced and the day tour was amazing, planned perfectly around our schedule so we were back right on time. He even took us to some extra secret stops since a few of the usual ones were closed. We got lucky and spotted wild koalas and kangaroos — including a huge one! 🦘 ... 阅读更多
