Visit the famous Christkindlmarkt in Marienplatz, where you can shop for handmade Bavarian gifts, sip on Glühwein (mulled wine; not included in price), and indulge in Lebkuchen, the traditional gingerbread cookie that has been a local Christmas staple since the 14th century.
