The temple is dedicated to Dewi Danu, the goddess of water, lakes, and rivers in Balinese Hinduism. Tamblingan Lake is known for its serene and tranquil atmosphere, surrounded by lush green forests and rolling hills. The lake covers an area of approximately 1.6 square kilometers and is located at an elevation of around 1,000 meters above sea level. The cool climate in this region adds to the refreshing ambiance of the lake.
