Discover the best of Rome at a leisurely pace on this 2-day private guided tour. Spread out across two days, you're able to enjoy both the ancient attractions and Vatican Museums without being rushed. Your guide is with you every step of the way, as you explore the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, and much more on day one. On the second day, explore the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica.

- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements
- Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Please note: you'll be advised about the tour start time only after booking, you can leave a preference about morning or afternoon and we will try ( according to availability) to set the preferred time.
- READ CAREFULLY: Because of the growing popularity of the current pope Francis and his intense activity in organising mass events in the Vatican some areas might get closed last minute without previous notice. This has already happened this year and can happen again during you Vatican tour: the Sistine chapel and/or the Basilica of Saint Peter might not be accessible. In case of such events our tour guide will provide you with a valuable alternative focusing the tour inside the Vatican museums.
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Please note due to the Jubilee, the Basilica might not be accessible as part of the tour. Unfortunately, we know that very last minute. In any case, you can go there after the tour, queueing.
- This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate

- Day 1 (4 hours)
- The tour continues with a visit to the Trevi Fountain, scene of many a famous movie including Fellini’s La Dolce Vita. Follow legend by throwing a coin in the fountain and making a wish that some day you will return to Rome! Next on the tour you will see the Parliament Building, the Palace of the Council of Ministers and the Column of Marcus Aurelius. These magnificent buildings are located in the Government District. Close by is the historic Temple of Hadrian, built by the Emperor Antonius Pius in honour of his predecessor.

Colosseum

- Day 1 (4 hours)
- The tour starts with a visit to Ancient Rome’s largest amphitheatre, the Colosseum. You meet your guide outside and with your reserved tickets go straight inside to explore this magnificent arena.
- You then go outside once more to see the Arch of Constantine and the Roman Forum. The Forum was the Empire’s political, religious and social hub and had many wonderful buildings and monuments.

- A walk down a narrow avenue brings you to the Pantheon where you can see the tomb of the architect and painter, Raphael. A little further, by way of the Ancient Baths of Nero we arrive at Piazza Navona to see Bernini’s wonderful Fountain of the Four Rivers.
