On this walking tour, we'll take a step back in time to the early 19th century when Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles of the British East India Company arrived in Singapore.
We'll visit well-preserved structures from the Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian eras, showcasing the splendor of Colonial Singapore.
We pay tribute to our former colonial masters who left behind their legacy of careful town planning, sound legal system, good education system, solid infrastructure, impressive architecture, and so on.
At midday, we'll take a break and enjoy lunch by the Singapore River at Boat Quay before resuming our tour of the Civic District and Old European Town.
